Consultation Summary

The Railway Standards Code establishes the governance arrangements for managing railway standards. It is accompanied by the Standards Manual, which provides guidance on the management of these standards and defines procedures for other RSSB documents.  
RSSB is consulting on a revision to the documents to improve processes and governance to help standards committees deal with future changes more effectively. This is the result of a comprehensive review of the operation of standards committees that will enhance: 
  - Decision making 
  - Industry leadership 
  - Committee membership 
It is vital that we hear the views of our members about this.
