Consultation Summary

GLGN1600 issue two, draft 1b, contains new or revised content to give users a clearer understanding of requirements in the Energy NTSN.  Specifically, draft 1b of issue two gives clearer guidance on how technical requirements relate to essential requirements. The guidance on implementing requirements has been enhanced by providing new or revised examples of evidence that can be used to demonstrate compliance as part of the authorisation process. 
To reflect the current UK regulatory framework, draft 1b of issue two provides guidance on the assessment process for the interoperability constituent overhead contact line and references have been updated throughout as necessary. Guidance in issue one related to non-technical aspects common to multiple NTSNs has been removed and republished in a new general NTSN guidance note, GEGN8601 which is being consulted on separately.
