The National Technical Specification Notice for Accessibility (ACC NTSN) replaced the Persons with Reduced Mobility NTSN (PRM NTSN) in GB on 02 May 2025. The ACC NTSN includes requirements for both station infrastructure and passenger rolling stock and reproduces much of the technical content of the European Union’s PRM TSI. The Guidance Note provides clarifications on ACC NTSN requirements and terminology for both station infrastructure and passenger rolling stock, consolidating guidance spread across multiple standards and research reports.
