Consultation Summary

The proposed standards update delivers alternatives to detonators in three less-used scenarios in the Rule Book: single line working (SLW), movements to and from a point of obstruction, and movements towards an isolated section. Alongside ongoing workstreams, these changes support the goal of eliminating detonators from the GB mainline railway.
