Consultation Summary

The European Union Agency for Railways (ERA) has provided draft proposals for revisions to the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) to the European Commission.

RSSB is seeking to understand industry views on whether these forthcoming TSI revisions should be reflected in the equivalent National Technical Specification Notice (NTSN) which applies in GB, or if there is a need for the NTSN to differ.

This is a preliminary consultation based only on the current ERA proposals to inform the drafting of NTSNs. There will be a second industry consultation on the proposals in early 2023, accompanied by supporting analysis and approved by standards committees.

You may wish to cover only one NTSN or several in your response, depending on your area of interest.
